Surgery day is here!

Eekkk the big day has finally arrived...nervous would be an understatement! Am 4th on the list so will be after lunch sometime. See y'all on the flip side!

Tomorrow is a big day!

Arrived at the hospital tonight & im 4th on the list tomorrow eekkk!!

Fingers & toes crossed...

So I am due to be admitted into hospital in 2 days...I am hoping and praying that there will be a bed available for me cause I desperately want this op over and done with!!

Tables have turned...

I got a call from the hospital yesterday...I'm going in next friday for surgery on the saturday :-) I can suddenly see a light at the end of tunnel :-) life will never be the same again but this will help to hopefully get a part of my life back :-)

the last few days...

Ok so, I saw a member of my consultants team on saturday & was told that I have to wait 6-9 months for surgery. I think I cried all the way home coz its so far away & originally I was told 6-8 weeks. Think I've gone through every emotion possible in the last few days. I just feel so let down by the system & I'm in so much pain. so, I dunno wot im gonna do at the mo..just got to wait and see I guess. I'm at the opthomologist this morning, thank god its only in brighton!

It's true what they say..u never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have!

Just blah

Today is shit...so upset. I fucking hate the nhs.

D-day tomorrow..

Seeing my consultant tomorrow to find out when surgery will be..a bit nervous but excited too..surgery could be quite soon & maybe before xmas too :-) keep ur fingers crossed xx

today's reason to smile...

Slowly but surely...

So yesterday I saw the sleep people..pleased to say that they are so pleased with my progress using the sleep mask, that I don't have to see them for another 6 months, yay :-) am seeing my consultant on saturday, fingers crossed that surgery will be before xmas!! today, im going to st barnabas to drop off the money donations..cant wait :-) pics will be up later :-) xx

a bit fed up :-(

The last few days have been hell with my head :-( it is getting worse as the days go by. Roll on a week tomorrow I say! The weather is crap, which isn't helping. On the plus side, my story should be in my local paper tomorrow or monday :-) its now bedtime so night all xx

10 days & counting until I see my neuro & hopefully find out when surgery will be, I'm really suffering at the mo and its really getting me down..fingers crossed its soon!!

Oh god my head hurts sooo much today..I should have drunk alcohol and then at least I would have a decent excuse haha!! today consists of nothing..just nothing!

So yesterday (halloween) was my mums bday & party tonight..its now 2.45 & I'm still up..I'm a little scared how im gonna feel tomorrow after this..I think it should be bedtime now. Night folks xx
